In and back out. On the same side.
The box goes into the cabinet, the shutter closes, and within a few seconds the whole contents are read. Then the box comes back where it went in. That sounds like a detour but it is exactly the advantage: you need one workstation and one person, and the setup takes up considerably less floor than a tunnel.
200 tags or more in three to five seconds, in a closed chamber.

When this fits, and when it does not
Wel
- Read boxes up to 700 mm completely, in a few seconds
- Be staffed by one person, at one workstation
- Take up less floor than a tunnel, about one square meter
- Shield the surroundings with a closed shutter
Niet
- Handle throughput: the box comes back, so there is no continuous flow
- Boxes over 700 mm, that is what the scan tunnel is for
- Process more than one box at a time
- Read a pallet, that is what the Faraday cage is for
