Three ways to start. Each with a price up front.

What a rollout costs, nobody knows at the start. What the first step costs, you ought to know before you take it. So here are three separate assignments with a fixed amount. They build on each other, but you can buy them separately and you start where your question is.

What the first step costs

From building the case to trying it out

The most complete one sits on the left, because that is also the step most companies work towards in the end. If your question is smaller, you do not have to start big. All three are separate assignments and they build on each other.

Proof of Value

What does it return, and what does introducing it cost?

from 3,500 euros

Baseline measurement, calculation and a go or no-go

  • Measured on your own material, in your own process
  • An answer to whether your objects are readable
  • Label types side by side on your own objects
  • Reading points and settings tuned to the maximum
  • What the floor itself says about where the time leaks away
  • A baseline measurement of what your process costs today
  • A calculation of what the current way of working costs per year
  • The consequences for your systems and your way of working
  • A go or a no-go on paper, with the numbers underneath
  • When you have the outcome, after the write-up

RFID validation day

How good can it get?

2,500 euros

Labels and settings tuned to the maximum

  • Measured on your own material, in your own process
  • An answer to whether your objects are readable
  • Label types side by side on your own objects
  • Reading points and settings tuned to the maximum
  • What the floor itself says about where the time leaks away
  • A baseline measurement of what your process costs today
  • A calculation of what the current way of working costs per year
  • The consequences for your systems and your way of working
  • A go or a no-go on paper, with the numbers underneath
  • When you have the outcome, the same day

Test day

Does it work here at all?

1,500 euros

Does it read on your material, yes or no

  • Measured on your own material, in your own process
  • An answer to whether your objects are readable
  • Label types side by side on your own objects
  • Reading points and settings tuned to the maximum
  • What the floor itself says about where the time leaks away
  • A baseline measurement of what your process costs today
  • A calculation of what the current way of working costs per year
  • The consequences for your systems and your way of working
  • A go or a no-go on paper, with the numbers underneath
  • When you have the outcome, the same day

All amounts exclude VAT. All three are separate assignments without an obligation to continue, even when the outcome is positive: a test day that shows it does not work is a successful test day, because for 1,500 euros you avoided a rollout costing tens of thousands. And the rollout after it is not listed here with an amount, because that follows from what the measurement produces. What you get then is a choice: not one amount to say yes or no to, but several versions, each with its own scope and its own price.

Which step

Where your question sits

The three belong to three different questions. Yours is one of them.

I have to build the case internally
Proof of Value. With a baseline measurement, a calculation and the consequences for your systems
It works, but not well enough
Validation day. Another label, another placement, other settings, and then measure
I doubt whether RFID works on our material
Test day. Metal, liquid or an awkward shape: one visit and you know

If you do not know, start by calling instead of by choosing. A conversation of twenty minutes often saves an assignment of the wrong kind.

What these prices are and are not

Wel

  • A fixed amount, known up front, per separate assignment
  • Including the equipment we bring and the temporary labels
  • Including the preparation and the reporting, and not just the visit
  • Carried out at your location, with your own material and your own people
  • Without an obligation to continue, even when the outcome is positive

Niet

  • A price for a rollout: that follows from the measurement and not from a table
  • A subscription or licence: that is a separate conversation
  • Including the labels for a production environment
  • Including VAT: every amount on this page excludes it
  • A guarantee that it works, because that is exactly what gets measured

The reason the first step is paid: what costs nothing is the first thing both sides push aside once it gets busy, and then the measurement is worth nothing.

Questions about the price

Why do you not quote a day rate?

Because you buy an outcome and not attendance. What a measurement is worth depends on what you then do not invest wrongly, and not on how long we stand somewhere. A fixed amount per assignment is calmer for you as well: it does not go up when it takes longer.

How long are you there for?

A test day is a visit of half a day and you know the outcome by the end of that same afternoon. A validation day is a day on location, again with the outcome the same day. A Proof of Value is not one continuous period but a series of moments: a visit for the measurement, conversations on the floor and an appointment in which we go through the write-up together. When those fall is agreed per assignment.

Why is a test day not free?

Because a free visit is a sales visit. Whoever charges nothing comes with the equipment he sells and not with the question of whether it works. And a free test is the first thing to drop off the calendar on both sides. For 1,500 euros you know whether it reads on your material, and that is the cheapest way to avoid a wrong investment.

What if the outcome is no?

Then that is the outcome and it stops there. You have not done a rollout that would not have worked, and you know why: usually the material or the shape of the object. We would rather say that at the first step than have you run aground during the rollout.

Do the amounts include VAT?

No, every amount on this page excludes VAT, as our terms and conditions state. For a business buyer that is the usual way to show it, but it does belong on the page.

Why does the Proof of Value say 'from'?

Because the scope sets the price: one process at one location is something other than three processes at two locations. You get a fixed amount before we start, and that amount does not change afterwards.

Do these costs come off a follow-up assignment?

We agree that per project. What we do not do is promise a discount that puts the measurement under pressure: the outcome of a Proof of Value has to be able to be 'do not do it' as well.

What does the rollout cost after that?

That depends on the labels, the reading points and the connection, and those three are only fixed after the measurement. You then get several versions to choose from, each with its own scope and its own price. The page on what RFID costs already sets out where the money goes and what moves the items.

Not sure which step fits your question?

Put one process on the measuring stick. One location, temporary labels and a baseline measurement, with a clear go or no-go.
