Reading while it keeps moving. Nobody stops, nobody lifts.

The box goes into the chamber on one side and comes out the other. On the way the contents are read, in a space shielded from the rest of the shop floor. That makes it right for a flow that is already moving, rather than for a checkpoint where someone puts things down.

The smallest of the three throughput setups. For larger boxes you look at the scan cabinet or the scan tunnel.

Belt speed, throughput per hour and load capacity are deliberately not listed here: they depend too much on your own boxes and your own flow to put a number on. In a Proof of Value we measure them on your material.

When this fits, and when it does not

Wel

  • Run along in a flow that is already moving, without an extra action
  • Shield the surroundings, so only the box on the belt counts
  • Process boxes up to 600 × 390 × 300 mm
  • Be staffed by one person, or by nobody at all if there is a feed

Niet

  • Handle larger boxes: up to 700 mm is the scan cabinet, above that the tunnel
  • Read a whole pallet, that is what the Faraday cage or a gate is for
  • Work without a labeling moment earlier in the flow
  • Read through tightly packed metal or liquid without adjustment
